Join this session for tips on how to use your camera settings to creatively capture nature in a visually interesting way. We will be looking at composition, focus, and colour.

Many professional offices and places of business have large prints gracing their wall space of things such as fields of flowers, a butterfly perched on a leaf, and a single dew drop on a rose petal. These beautiful images are all around us in nature. It just takes that special "eye" to not only see it but to capture it in a way that will turn that simple little piece of nature into a beautiful piece of art. We will learn how to use different angles, light and shadows, and settings to make subjects pop.

It was good. Learnt a lot on technical photography which didn?t necessarily lean towards autumnal landscape photography But still enjoyable. I like the individual support I received. 6 people should be the max in these short classes

The instructor (Amman Ali) is a very talented photographer and great instruction skills. He dedicated a lot of extra time, i.e. outside the scheduled 2 hours to go through the concepts of manual photography. We were very blessed to have him our instructor and will highly recommend him.

It was fabulous. First, there were only two of us and thankfully we were of similar experience so we jumped straight into a conversation with Amaan. It was like having Yoda to ourselves for 2.5 hours. In the event we took very few photos, but the opportunity to discuss a range of technical and artistic issues with him was invaluable. He was open, patient and extremely knowledgable. Whilst I did learn a couple of technical tricks, the majority of our time was spent discussion the balance of different techniques. I had a thoroughly engrossing time and can?t thank or recommend Amaan enough.

Working mainly in the field of Street and Documentary photography, I like to capture the everyday moments and emotions of people in their environment and to tell stories that may have otherwise gone unnoticed. A lot of my work explores the human sub-cultures and societies that are belittled and highlights the ingenious qualities they have. I consider my work to be a visual representation of the connections between people, places, and emotions.
